We have been closely monitoring the development regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and wanted to give you an update. As many of you know, Governor Brian Kemp officially declared a public health emergency for the state of Georgia. Additionally, earlier this week the American Dental Association (ADA) issued a recommendation for all dentists nationwide to take measures to diminish the spread of the Coronavirus by reducing their practice operations to procedures the ADA has categorized as either emergency or essential. As a result of these declarations and guidelines, we have decided to reduce our office hours to (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Closed Wednesday; Friday and Saturday: (9:00 am to 4:00 pm) and will be treating patients who need emergency or essential procedures. We hope to reopen for normal business hours and operations on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

Custom Sports Mouthguards
Is your son or daughter protected on the playing field? While you may have been quick to invest in helmets and padding for your child’s sport, it is important to consider proper mouth protection too. A surprising number of sports-related injuries involve the mouth. These can involve chipped teeth, knocked out teeth and lacerations to the cheek and lips. As part of our general dental care at Gwinnett Family Dental Care, we help patients realize the crucial importance of an athletic mouthguard for contact sports. The latest studies reveal that a custom mouthguard can also prevent concussions in youth sports.
Ultimate Protection with Custom Athletic Mouthguards
While boil-and-bite mouthguards can easily be found at your local sporting goods store or drug store, it is important to realize that a custom-fit mouthguard from your dentist offers a superior level of protection and comfort. In fact, experts agree that a one-size-fits-all mouthguard can be so ineffective that it causes more harm than not wearing one at all. At Gwinnett Family Dental Care, we use leading dental software and advanced in-office technology to fabricate athletic mouthguards that fit over every crevice and groove of the teeth. Patients should be able to breathe and even speak with ease while wearing one of our mouthguards. A mouthguard that is kept in place is one that will do its job to protect your child’s smile during the game.

The whole process is amazing! You don't sit in the waiting room for very long until somebody comes in to get you. And to my surprise The same lady that clean to my teeth the last time cleaned my teeth this time and she actually remembered me! She was super sweet and very gentle and was able to give me great feedback on what I need to do for the health of my teeth. When the dentist came in he also was very gentle and very thorough looking at my teeth and letting me know the best products to use on my teeth as far as tooth paste and mouthwash. Everything always seems very organized to the time you check in until the time you leave. Is it weird that I can actually say I kind of enjoyed my experience at the dentist? Lol
My insurance changed and I was also looking on changing dentist. I received a very thorough cleaning and check up. I finally was told about some things happening to my teeth that my old dentist office never told me about. Probably should have changed sooner. Would recommend this office to anyone. Very Happy
Pardon me for repeating myself, but Gwinnett Family Dental Care this is my review today, tomorrow and every single time! First, Dr. Jon - oh if every Dr. could be like this man the medical world would be absolutely a joy to go to see a Dr.! I am so happy to see him and talk with him with his kind, caring way. Talks and his help for so much over these many years- PRICELESS! Can I say I love my friend? Well, i do! I see Carime and Lauren and they have to figure it out who's turn it is and I told them why don't you just do it this way - one on left and one on the right! They thought it was great! My friends in the office staff you are wonderful, caring people too and greet me with a smile and a great HELLO and leaving it's a BYE, have a great day! There is no more to say, except Gwinnett Family Dental - get out there in all those Dr.'s offices and show them how customer concern, service and kindness is done! I wish all of you the JOY of the upcoming HOLIDAYS!
Ok 2-9-18 I had all front teeth removed, temporary was put in the same day . Dr Green is gentle and patient. Office staff and techs are wonderful and compassionate . Easy to make appts. I have referred my father and many co workers. I'll be a patient for life!! Thank you Gwinnett family Dental Care!! Because of Dr Green my confidence is growing.
I came here due to my previous dental office cancelled my appointment. I love the practice and the entire staff. Very professional and if any question regarding services they can fully answer. The most I like the Saturday appointment due to my schedule with work.
Broke a chunk of my back molar off. They were able to fit me in that day. I am super sensitive in the mouth and did not want to come. Dr. Green and her assistant Mirna were wonderful. They explained everything before and during the procedure. No pain!! They did a wonderful job drilling out the old filling, building up my tooth and placing a temporary crown. If I wanted them to stop for any reason, I just raised my finger and they both stopped immediately! Super gentle and patient! They also didn't try to get me to do extra procedures I didn't need or purchase extra stuff. Oh and the front office staff is great too! Super friendly and helpful!
I have been coming here for a couple of years. I LOVE THEM! So much so my husband is switching dentists to come here. I definitely recommend them. I haven't had to wait too long to be seen and everyone there has always been helpful.
Again had my teeth cleaned and more by the creme-de-la creme wonderful hygienist Careme, from the identical last name of the French chef "caremal" - the sweet , there may be some possible puns above. But seriously, she's the best hygienist I've ever had the good fortune to encounter, and I'm rather long of tooth (but don't give my exact age) a long line of such both in NYC and Atlanta. Gentle, cheerful and beyond thorough since it's evident that she's checking for things no other hygienist I've had has ever checked for. One needs a word beyond "superlative" to describe her and her work. I was also fortunate to have my teeth checked by Dr. John Klevansky, He finds the problems without painfully poking around, and it's always a good experience to be with him, and I've had a lot of work done by him.
